Orsha Magyar, M.Sc., B.Sc., R.H.N.

Executive Vice President, Business Development

Orsha Magyar’s passion to broaden people’s knowledge about health surfaced early in her career. While undergoing undergraduate studies in biopsychology, and graduate work in neuroscience, her research on areas such as anxiety and epilepsy was published in scientific and medical journals, and was presented at international medical conferences.

Orsha then chose to expand upon her biomedical background by becoming a Registered Holistic Nutritionist. She soon became a leading instructor at the Canadian School for Natural Nutrition, teaching subjects such as Preventative Nutrition, Anatomy & Physiology, and Optimum Nutrition for the Mind.

Known as an expert on the relationship between nutrition and mental health, Orsha regularly presents public seminars and clinics on the subject. Empowering others to take charge of their health is a core value that Orsha carries into her private practice. Her unique approach as a nutritionist involves blending her biomedical knowledge with holistic approaches. She sees herself as an adjunct to the client’s primary caregiver, optimizing medications by addressing the root causes of maladies.

Bringing scientifically verifiable information about holistic nutrition to the public in a web-based business is not just an obvious development in Orsha’s career. It’s a dream come true. Having seen how people suffer from a lack of understanding about the causes of their ill health, she is passionate about making this information accessible – and affordable – for everyone.

I first went to Orsha in 2009 with a few health issues that needed taking care of. Not only did she manage to get me eating healthier, but I also got my medical issues under control. I feel SO much better now, plus I never feel like I’m denying myself anything good to eat because she’s taught me how to eat healthier and still enjoy my food. Orsha’s introduced me to a whole new way of eating and thinking about food. The great part is that she explains it all so that I understand why I’m doing what I’m doing. Orsha is so lovely – smart, funny, sensitive, helpful and truly dedicated to her mission – to get people eating healthier and feeling better. Thanks for everything Orsha! You’re the best!

Orsha is an amazing practitioner. I have the privilege of being her client, her former student at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition, and have participated in two of her workshops. She taught me how to lose 100+ lbs and keep it off without having to starve, use medications or had invasive weight-loss surgery. Her compassion, dedication and knowledge make her invaluable to this industry. I know that she will be a success in all that she does!
